The United Kingdom (UK) is a sovereign country located off the northwestern coast of mainland Europe. It is made up of four constituent Countries: England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland.

Geography: The UK is an island nation comprising the island of Great Britain (which includes England, Scotland, and Wales) and the northeastern part of the island of Ireland (Northern Ireland). It is surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean, the North Sea, the English Channel, and the Irish Sea.
